Test drive the Tool Dashboard™ for yourself. The example above is running at 21,000 RPM and is chattering. Click on the speed dial indicator, raise or lower the RPM into a green zone. With the speed stable, notice how you can now increase the depth of cut without causing chatter. Note the machine status bars in the middle of the dashboard. You still have plenty of power, bending moment (length of tool and drawbar force limits) and feed rate available. Next increase the feed rate based on the bars. Look at the increase in productivity, tool life and reduction of energy consumed per part.
